Democracy Court!!!

I don’t know much about Ukraine. I am not sure where it is exactly either? (Although I know it’s somewhere near Russia) But have never stopped looking on the map to find its exact location. (Although I did it once) So it’s obvious that I don’t know anything about its people and what they want exactly from their government. I am not sure that if they are governed under a dictatorship obeying Russia or not. I don’t know if they like their government or not either. Do they like a free country which they are deprived of by the time and they like a more liberal government which gives more attention to their political requests? Are they living in a situation like here in which people think only some foreign country force could let them free? (Although I should confess that I am not sure if people in Iran are happy with the government or not and if there is anyone in Iran believing in a foreign rescuer!!! About the last part I don’t believe in such a rescuer myself). But there is one thing I am sure about. I don’t like UK and United States to decide about all countries path of democracy to be all right or not. There is no need for jack straw to accept the result of the election. It’s the right of Ukraine people. They have the right, use it or not, they deserve their future as a consequence of their freedom to choose whether to use their right or not. As we deserve it in my opinion.

3am funny stories serries

Last night’s 3 am funny story was myself running from the urgency ward in the ground level to the second floor every half an hour to check a patient’s blood pressure and pulse rate just because no nurse was going to move her …(beap) for 10 meters from the station to do that.

Could you believe it? Believe it or not this is real. And what the hell are we doing to stop this statistics climbing up as fast as the inflation rate of the country? Putting a hush in front of this “Taboo”. “Who would get AIDS in an Islamic country? These are just some nonsense being told by the enemies.”

Code 444

All of you have been to a hospital once at least. (If not don’t worry you will be there at last) They announce different bullshits through the speakers. This varies from Drs who should call the other people to hygienic comments for the visitors and the patients. Among these announcements there are some strange ones giving no data to listeners. “Code 444 to CCU” in Sina Hospital or “Code 196 to ICU” in Imam Hospital for instance. Once you here them you may think there are some security agents or some special governmental agent who should attend the specified place as soon as possible. But the story is much simpler. Some one is Dying.
Through these “Codes” they mean to call the CPR team to that place and this usually happens when they get sure the patient will die in less than 5 minutes. The point is that these “Codes” are the simple, non frightening way of announcing one patient’s dead. “ What’s the point of announcing such a shit when they are sure nothing would happen with or without the presence of the team?”. This was one of my biggest questions till last night. At last I came up with the answer successfully. I was seating in the station in Sina Hospital reading some newspapers! Suddenly ( I should correct this, It’s a common natural accident or lets say routine there) I heard this familiar voice:“ Code 444 to CCU”. Hey man again some one is doing its duty. In less than 3 minutes a Dr came to the station, took the phone, called one of the wards: “Hey man they have announced a code for CCU. Call ther in 5 minutes and if the patient is expired by then, we could move the patient X to the CCU”. What a practical way of hospital managing.

Mohsen the Intern

Hey guys at last I am an Intern. What are you excepting to here? “I am shocked”, “It was fantastic”, “Oh my GOD could I go to the hospital tonight too?” It was just like every other night. But the only difference is the funny stories you may encounter at 3 a.m. you may have not encountered if you were sleeping. Guess what? I had to take a patient to Sina hospital for a neurological consult at 8:30 and as you can say I was as useful as the Ambulance driver or less. But the 3am story was the man running to the urgency ward giving me his Tetracaine drop, asking me to pour some in his eyes telling me that he had this strange kind of hypersensitivity to some special paper wrapped around the tires he was selling in his store for last 3 month. Yes, exactly, so what? “ You know, I just wanted you to see this at night”.

Stateless President

“Stateless President”, that’s how BBC described him in his funeral. He was like a father to Palestinians and he was leading the most popular freedom movement group in Palestine and guess no one else will ever have his charisma & authority in that country again. Seeing his funeral ceremony I remembered Imam’s funeral ceremony. Lots of people were there to say their last goodbye to their leader. The big man who meant Palestine to the entire world. This is true beside one place in the world and that’s Iran. He was not the right guy to negotiate with. This was how both Iran and Western countries thought about him. But one side assumed him too radical and the other too easy taking and somewhat of a betrayer to the people of Palestine. Friday was the day of Palestine in the world. They were showing Araft’s funeral and Palestinians’ gathering as a sign of respect to the Palestinians and their leader in most of the world TV channels while the respect sign for Palestinian and their movement was the Iranians gathering for the Qods day in Iranian TV channels. Why Arafat meant this much different in west and Iran?

Hey guys. Guess what? Due to some unknown complex chemical reactions at last I decided to reactivate this blog. Who reads it? Who gives a damn! This was not thought about in those reactions. Hey what a game is Mafia. It’s fabulous. But you know it’s sometimes really painful. Specially when you are Police and you recognize the Mafia in the first night but say what? You are the dead body in the morning. Wow what a pin in the ass to know something from the first but not be allowed to speak. It’s usually the same in the society. The most known one are even afraid of talking or dead.
